    The proposed amendments update filing fee amounts in appellate courts. A.R.S. § 12-119.01(C) authorizes the Supreme Court to increase the fees in the class A and class B amounts prescribed by A.R.S. § 12-119.01(A). This amendment proposes an approximate 12% increase in these filing fees, to become effective January 1, 2025.

    Deadline for comments: October 21, 2024 by 4pm MST.

    Attached is an amendment to the proposal to increase fees by approximately 12%. The slight changes to the proposed fee amounts bring them in line with mathematical rounding conventions to the nearest dollar. As mentioned with the original post, there has been a 24% increase in the CPI since the most recent fee increase in 2018.

    Please note that fee waivers and deferrals will remain available where applicable.
